Kan Beit and Pauk Ku villages, Yesagyo Township, were burned down on 19 October 2023.

Local media reported that SAC troops and Pyu Saw Htee members were responsible for the fires and estimated that 56 buildings from Kan Beit village and 12 from Pauk Ku village were destroyed.
