Airstrike on A Nang Pa in Hpakant, Kachin, on 16 October 2023 was geolocated by Myanmar Witness (with the coordinates withheld for privacy reasons). Two KIA officers were allegedly killed by the airstrike on the A Nang Pa area and market in KIA Brigade 9 area, Hpakant, on 16 October 2023.

There were reports that heavy weapons were also used by the SAC and that there were others injured during the incident.
