Seven people were reportedly attacked by the Myanmar military when travelling to harvest corn in Hsihseng Township, Shan State.

Myanmar Witness investigators were able to geolocate the footage where the alleged attack occurred.

Local media also reported that people are returning to the area because of fake news stating that it is peaceful.
