On 29 February 2024, reports emerged online that a military jet had crashed near the village of Kyo Wun in Salin township.
Myanmar Witness was able to identify the aircraft as a MiG-29 by its tail number 2721.
The footage has not yet been geolocated.
The MIMU coordinates of Kyo Wun village where the footage was reportedly taken are 20.474199, 94.633553.
