Retaliatory assaults by the Myanmar Military were reported in Mongmit City in Northern Shan

Claims appeared online that retaliatory assaults by the Myanmar Military took place in Mongmit City in Northern Shan.

Myanmar Witness geolocated footage of where the assaults were claimed to have occurred.

Civilian houses were reportedly looted and burnt down by the Myanmar Military. Myanmar Now reported there were 57 casualties, including 15 civilians.
