Myanmar Witness has been monitoring the LID66 (တပ်မ ၆၆) base in Innma, Bago region (west). According to MW analysis, the base has expanded over nearly five years from February 2019 to November 2023.

Bago is associated with some of the major areas of conflict such as Rakhine state, Karen state and Magway.

This is the second airstrip in Bago region, after Taungoo, which adds additional potential MAF capacity for aircraft and operations.
