Myanmar Witness was able to verify there were active fires in Ta Pei Inn village, Chaung U on 21 May and 05 June 2022. In the series #MWBurntVillages, Myanmar Witness features satellite imagery that reveals fire destruction in multiple villages throughout the last few years.
